DMA United structured a multi-faceted marketing partnership between its client, Barneys New York,
and luxury automotive company, Lexus, to celebrate this 2015 Holiday Season.
The brands’ creative integration begins in the Barneys New York Madison Avenue and Beverly Hills windows. Referencing London’s Penguin Pool Observatory and childhood games, the team re-imagined a traditional and playful winter racetrack adventure. Three “Chilled-Out” crystal-covered penguins race around the track atop Lexus IS, GS F, and RC F model cars, which were 3D printed and also covered in crystals.

Continued from An animated film narrative brings the full scene together. The stylized animation, “Stay Cool,” tells the story of a penguin hero racing against his opponents, set to an imaginary world of ice formations, city structures, and ski lodges. Lexus integrations are also included holiday catalog, customer experiences and driving programs.
